Discover Scuba - Course Overview
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course allows you to go SCUBA diving without having to get certified. As the name suggests Discover Scuba Diving is a one day introduction to diving under the very close supervision of you PADI Instructor.
Designed for those of you that do not have the time to complete a full certification course, or you would like to try Scuba Diving before you enroll in the Open Water course. The program will introduce you to the basics safety procedures and equipment needs to make your very first Scuba Dive. If you decide that you would like to take part in the Open Water course everything you have learnt in this program will be credited towards the PADI Open Water Course. Discover the underwater world, the fun and excitement has just begun.
This Course Consists Of 4 Sessions:
1 Academic Session (Classroom)
The classroom sessions consist of a briefing covering all the safety concepts you need to understand before entering the water. On the boat you will be introduced to the breathing apparatus, and then your PADI Instructor will take you into the shallow water for your first breath underwater.
1 Confined Water Session (Pool like conditions on the beach)
During the confined water session you’ll master the basic concepts and scuba skills, and then it’s off to an open water journey-up to 12 metres deep! Your Instructor will teach you the basic necessary skills to be able to venture into the Open Water.
2 X Open Water Dives
Here is where you will put the classroom and the pool training into practice. The open water sessions consist of two guided tours around the coral reef, in the sea. And remember, your Discover Scuba Diving experience counts toward your Open Water Diver Certification.
Course Schedule
The Discover Scuba Diving course starts at 9am everyday just bring a towel and a swim suit.
