WHAT IS INVOLVED IN THIS INTERNSHIP?

In this program based over a minimum 2months, you learn all required skills and expand your dive knowledge to the professional level. Enabling you to work as a dive professional, a PADI Dive master.

ALSO as this is a Discover Scuba Diving Internship you'll be able to independently teach DSD as well making you more employable!

  • Starting with the first PADI diving course, PADI Open Water you'll be introduced to the underwater world and begin you understanding of Dive table procedures, buoyancy control, emergency protocol and relaxing whilst your dive.

  • PADI Advanced Open Water follows which builds on your open water skills and introduces you to different areas and types of diving such as Wreck diving, deep diving, navigation diving etc.

  • By the The time you get to Emergency First Responder the and PADI rescue diving course you'll be ready to look at first aid action and start focusing on other divers, problem solving and prevention.

  • PADI Dive Master fine tunes all of your existing training bringing your dive theory and skills to a professional level, also during this section you'll learn how to and practice conducting the Discover scuba diving course as well as learning how to teach other people to be an Emergency first responder instructor. Two very useful strings to have in your bow whilst seeking a professional dive job.

    WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO ME?

    As a PADI Dive master. you’ll be a member of PADI, the world’s largest and most respected diver training organization. As a PADI Member you receive regular mailings of information, standards changes and industry alerts in addition to ‘The Undersea Journal’.

    After becoming certified as a PADI Dive master. via our fast track life package you will be authorized to:

    • Supervise both training and non-training-related activities by planning, organizing and directing dives  
    • Assist a PADI Instructor during the training sessions for any PADI Diver course
    • Teach PADI Emergency First Response courses after successfully completing a PADI Emergency First Response Instructor Course.
    • Teach PADI Discover scuba diving course courses after successfully completing a PADI Discover scuba diving DM Internship Course.

    8 weeks Minimum

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 18 years old.
    • Be fit for diving and submit a Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months.
