PADI MASTER SCUBA DIVER
PADI Master Scuba Diver rating signifies that you have reached the highest level a recreational diver can obtain in the PADI System of diver education.
This rating puts you in the diving elite showing your extensive education and levels of experience and ability. Every diver should be encouraged to achieve what is often considered the “black belt” of scuba diving.
WHAT IS INVOLVED IN MASTER SCUBA DIVER?
PADI Master Scuba Diver indicates you have completed the Rescue Diver course, 5 specialties of your choice and have logged 50 dives
The specialties completed may be those you started on the advanced course (remember the dives of the advanced are the first dives of the corresponding specialty) or you can engage in something completely different if your interests have changed.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO ME?
As a Master Scuba Diver you have attained a level of competence and commitment to diving which is internationally recognized and respected.

You must complete all levels of diver training including Rescue Diver, Emergency First Response and 5 PADI Specialty courses as well as having a minimum of 50 logged dives.
