We will be focusing on the safe practices of its use and practicing how and when you set up the equipment to be used in emergency situations..
This PADI Emergency o2 Provider Speciality course is an entry-level emergency oxygen course that also teaches you how to recognise dive illnesses treatable by emergency oxygen and will enable you to administer and provide emergency oxygen to others as you discover the benefits and recognize the uses of emergency oxygen treatment. Though suited for divers, this course has no prerequisites and doesn’t include dives, which means it is equally applicable to those who are around divers ? boat crew, non diving buddies, lifeguards, and shore staff. You don?t need any previous CPR or first aid training to take the course.
As an Emergency o2 Provider you are adding to your leadership skill level of diving and sculpting a skill which will help you in problem management and rescue diving. An invaluable skill to achieve and master to enhance your abilities in emergency rescue breathing and emergency situations on future dive trips.
