Becoming a PADI MSDT
Becoming a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) involves mastering diving skills, gaining teaching expertise, and mentoring new divers. With extensive training, honed techniques, and a passion for underwater exploration, MSDTs instruct, inspire, and certify divers, ensuring safety, knowledge, and a profound love for the ocean’s wonders.
What Is Involved In PADI Master Scuba Diver Training?
Reaching MSDT is a Three-phase process.
1) Attaining 5 specialty instructor Ratings By training to become a special instructor and teach five specialty courses.
2) Reaching an experience level of 25 diver certifications
3) Applying to PADI to become an MSDT.
PADI Specialty Instructor Rating
PADI Specialty Instructor rating can be taken individually or in a package of 5 specs. for each of the Specialties you chose to undertake you must complete:
- One knowledge development presentation
- One or two open water teaching presentations

SIGN OFF AS AN MSDT Specialty Instructor
Once you are a certified instructor in at least 5 PADI Specialty instructor Ratings you must achieve an experience level of 25 student diver certifications. This can be achieved by working as a PADI instructor and gaining experience as you go or by joining an MSDT Diving Internship certification program whereby you can teach 25 student certifications with a dive center under the guidance of other seasoned PADI professionals.

Requirements:
Renewed PADI Assistant Instructor (AI), PADI Instructor or have completed an IDC or PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program within the past 12 months.

Price Option #1: PADI Specialty Instructor Ratings :: 5,500 baht Each or 20,000 baht for a package of 5
Price Option #2: MSDT Diving Internship (5 specs and 25 certs) 42,000 baht
