What Does It Mean To Me?
Successful applicants will attend a 2-week CDTC programme at Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia or Punta Cana, Dominican Republic to become the highest level Instructor, the PADI Instructor Trainer. Teaching
status, updated PADI Course Directors are authorized to conduct Instructor Development Courses, OWSI programs and IDC Staff Instructor courses.
Course Schedule / Duration:
After prep and acceptance to attend, the CDTC is 2 weeks long.
Requirements:
- PADI Master Instructor
- For 12 months before the course start date:
- Have no verified qualified QA complaints
- Conducted all PADI certification courses and experience programs consistent with
PADI standards - Use the PADI system of education exclusively and appropriate materials
- Taught PADI diver courses exclusively
- Staff 2 complete IDC after IDC Staff Instructor certification
- EFR Instructor Trainer
- 250 logged dives
- PADI Dive Centre work experience
- Meet other requirements as listed on the current application
